I do small (actually micro -- you're talking to the President, Janitor, R&D head, and Shipping clerk at the same time.  Hi.) manufacturing outfit.  My product line consists of a handful of printed circuit boards and some assemblies.  The bare boards and assembly are outsourced.  All I do in-house is design, test, package and ship.  But there are a handful of parts I have to supply to the assembly house separately.

I like ABC because (a) it's desktop single-user which fits my needs, and (b) it includes BOM and I'd like to track COGS with an inventory package.  I'm also using QuickBooks for accounting functions.

I'm looking for help from those of you who use both packages for manufacturing, not distribution. With ABC, how do you extract what you need for QuickBooks (question is vague because so is my understanding)?

Any report in ACS can be saved as Excel file. You would need to format the Excel file to be QB compliant. Just see what the QB expects and reformat the file.
