I have a question regarding UOM/Packages/Units,

I'll give some detail to try and make my  question a little easier to understand.

I have a pallet of product which can hold up to 105 units.
Each unit is a sub-assembly made up of 1 carton which contains 3 cans.
Each can is a sub-assembly made up of 1 can, 1 spoon, 900g powder

I have no issues with raising work orders, issuing materials or building the product. When I biuld the product all of the components are transferred from the various warehouse locations into the finished item.

My problem is that the system won't let me build any less than a full pallet (105 units). If I try to build 150 units ( 1 full pallet + 45 cartons) it tells me I have 2 units, ie 2 pallets of 105 units.

I'm sure it has something to do with the way I am setting up the Units or packages but I can work out which way I should go with it.
