Question from a new user.
We are looking for the best way to reference items where we need to distinguish between colours and sizes for a single overall item.  For example, a single belt type which is in various lengths and colours.  Does each colour and length need to be a separate item ID or does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to set up the database/fields....Thanks for your help.

You can do it either way. You can set item as unrelated to size and color and then specify size and color at the receiving in serial 1, serial 2 or  in the remarks (you can rename the fields if necessary) You can also use optional hidden fields by renaming them. This will require some configuration, but save you time later.

You can also create IDs suffixed with color and size codes, like ABC123-Y-XXL.
