I have a question. What is a warehouse appointment? I haven't heard that term before.

If you receive a truckload of products and you have an advanced warehouse whipping notification from your client, you can plan your work by scheduling the appointments and input the line items in advance. The latter saves time at the receiving time. The appointments also can be used for inputting inbound shipping containers and their content.

I'm hoping you might be able to help with a few additional questions regarding this post. If I have my items input as a PO can I also input this as a Warehouse Appointment? Will it result in duplicate inventory? Should I still Receive the items in the Purchase Order screen AND the Warehouse Appointment screens or just one?

Thanks for all that you do!

Nick
