Is there any way to schedule backing up of the data.....   If my hard drive dies - is it possible to restore my data (if I am not able to get data file from the drive)?

Yes, it must be easy. Let us save it to F:\Backups\AlmytaSystems\ folder, but it could be anything. The backup folder must exist before the backup is running.
1) Create a file in C:\AlmytaSystems folder, name it backup.bat
2) Right-click the file, select Edit from the popup menu.
3) Input there a one line command
xcopy "C:\AlmytaSystems" "F:\Backups\AlmytaSystems\" /E /Y /C
save and close the file.
4) Add the C:\AlmytaSystems\backup.bat file to Windows Task Manager.
