We are selling pre-assembled kit and we sell a lot of them. About 1000 units everyday. We have roughly about 500 Kit SKUs that we need to create. We have the mapping to shows which components should be in which kits. Is there a way to upload that information in to ABC Inventory?

I forgot to mention, the component also is sold by itself so it needs to have inventory SKUs as well. So basically, we are looking at inventory SKUs which are component SKUs and Kit SKUs which are pre-assembled from component SKUs.

This is not a problem. Go to the Data/Import screen.
Select Item Master List in the Import Database.
For the kits.
Import columns are Item ID (kit SKU), Make (-1), Supplier ID ([Make]), all other fields as needed.
For the components Item ID (kit SKU), Supplier ID (a real supplier as added or imported before to the database), all other fields as needed.
You can import more columns later. The SKUs cannot be duplicated. So importing existing SKUs will only modify selected columns.
Kits and and components are kept in the data database called Item Master list here.

After you imported all SKUs, you can import the BOM. Select Bill of Materials in the Import Database. Import Assembly ID (kit SKU), Component ID (component SKU), Units, and maybe other fields.
